Angel Flying on Her Back: Stick Naming Contest

Sometimes I turn off the lathe and see the most marvelous things.

I don’t know where her head is, but I’m pretty sure this angel is flying on her back.

The plan for this piece of wood is to be part of an all-blue stick, so the entire thing will have patterns like the above. That, or a blue/black/blue stick. I’m making each. I just don’t know where this piece will end up.

Within the next few days I’ll update the site with a couple more sticks that are in process, and then shortly thereafter, another 10 or so, which will include Flying Tit Angel, or whatever the above angel finds her way into.

These 10 or so sticks (I keep adding them. This is the funnest part.) are at the very beginning of the process. I’ll be gluing them, one a day, for the first part of the month, then turning them over the next month or longer so I can finish them sometime later.

That gives us time. If not Flying Tit Angel, what would you name the stick?

Nobody say Blue Angel.
