Never feel powerless.

The moment you decide, the vacuum fills. Probability yields to possibility as things that were set to go one way react to your decision — inexorably, as a chemical reaction is inexorable, baked in, to the nature of the chemicals reacting. They react because that is what they are and what they do.

The stuff of decisions, action, history, and this moment of awareness right now all adhere to rules as stark as the ones commanding chemicals to dance.

Reactions take time.

Inertia keeps the matter and mind of the universe on its present path until your decision ripples through, creating new bonds, breaking old ones, reordering nature to accommodate the way things are now that the decision is made.

A real decision is like a radio signal.

Once you make a real decision, there’s no calling it back.

Gradually you notice the order of things out there reflects the order you decided in your head — not your pre-decision self, that loathsome pile of hairy indecision that felt like a worm tunneling a loaf of shit — but the hero of your choice, costumed for the party, which really didn’t start until the moment they opened the front door and rolled the red carpet to your limo, anyway.

The greatest victory is not won with blood, sweat, toil, tears.

Those may come, but the greatest victory is won with the decision to engage…

Full, clean, final, and so loaded with intent, the last syllable is spoken as your weight leg shoves off.

The universe waits for your boot to arrive, with your command.

The person who can make a real decision has absolutely nothing to fear.
