Stick #22, Bruiser, went together nice and easy, and I’m excited to see that blue come alive under a gloss finish. I love the natural streaks of orange/yellow that cut through the blue dye in the beech. There are a few pocketed areas on the fat part of the butt that’ll need epoxy, and I’ll likely use blue mica in that to echo the blue in the middle.
I think this one is going to be a spellbinder, and I’ll be shooting to have it done before Christmas.
