This is Bob, Black Orange Black, under three coats of epoxy designed for deep-pour tabletops, by a company that caters to finishing boats.
I’m experimenting because I was reading about various finishing types and a lot of cue makers use finishing methods other than epoxy and CA glue. The biggest part of my interest is that fumes from CA glue are obnoxiously toxic, and I have a special thing about wearing masks. I’d despise them, if despise was a little stronger a word than it’s usually taken for.
So putting a finish on without masking up or dying would be waaaaay cool.
Fingers crossed that this stuff polishes up like CA glue. I bet it will, from tables I’ve seen that are finished with it.
