I ordinarily use Cactus Juice stabilizer, but I had some Polycryl that I’d intended to test, and never had.

It occurred to me while editing my upcoming Sassafras rebuild video that with my current setup, I’m able to core full length sticks.

The daring part was coring them while they’re rotten and liable to fly apart on the lathe.

That’ll all be in upcoming videos charting both of these sticks’ builds. This video just shows the sticks submerged in Polycryl, where they’ll be for several days before drying for a few weeks.
