This is 100% purple heart. No collars. Just a quarter inch black phenolic ring above the bumper because that’s where they always ding if you don’t.
A note about the images in case you happen to see it:
If you look close you’ll notice a slight difference in the shade of purple at the joint. That’s because I finished the butt last week and the shaft last fall. The wood changes color over the first week or so after the finish is applied. It darkens. Regular purple becomes…. Deep Purple. Over time the butt will catch up.
Try a collarless cue! Totally different feel to the hit. Nice like squiggling your toes in the carpet after a day in the boots.

- Weight: natural ranges from 17 to 20 oz, depending on pin choice and width of cue and weight bolts. Going beyond 19 gives you a slightly butt-heavy cue, even with a heavy pin like a brass radial.
Expected Completion Date: 6.5 months after order. Cue is turned to final size over months to reduce probability of future warping.
