The first video is a look at the stick on the Taper Shaper after 4 passes.
The second video looks at what I can only describe as spooky shit.
I called the stick Pale Horse without knowing what patterns the wood would reveal, and the patterns will change before it’s done. But right now this is some of the most amazing grain I’ve seen.
What do you see?
The closer I look, the more that scene resolves into robed spirits under the howling moon.
I’ll have a few more passes at it in a couple weeks, and we’ll what becomes of the image.
